Alright, our federal Belgium government finally adopted the European #OpenData directive!
The fact this only happens now however is problematic. Contrary to Mathieu Michel his promises during Open Belgium 2021, open data seems to be very low on his priority list. While he gave the example of open meteo data during the conference, he now even didn’t foresee any budget to make up for the loss of income by KMI, which was what we flagged to him when he started.
