Izabela Dłużyk ‘The Amazon—where the moon wept’ 2CD (LOM, 2024)

An intimately focused suite of field recordings by Dłużyk, her third album on @label, this time recorded in the Tambopata National Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon. Beautifully realised, as are all her recordings, the album sites the listener in contexts they’re unlikely ever to be lucky enough to experience first-hand.
