Goodbye good boy

Saying goodbye to our sweet dog

💔 We said goodbye to our sweet boy Chainsaw late last night.

We didn’t deserve the 15 and a half years of unconditional love he gave us. We are heartbroken but thankful he’s no longer suffering. He’s been a part of our whole marriage, I don’t know life as an adult without him. He was loving, energetic, a pain in my side but wow did I love that dog.

Rest easy Chainsaw ❤️ I’ll love you forever buddy.

My first photo with him, some cherished photos and my last photo with him at the end.

Recovering from a heart surgery.

I’m now a cyborg.

Having your body sliced up is extremely painful to recover from. But now I have a good excuse for a LOTR marathon.

Really love this post from @maggie: Ambient Co-presence

"Multiplayer cursors can add a sense of shared activity in digital spaces but lacks the ambient quality we're seeking. Seeing *exactly* which word or design mock your manager is focused on isn't the chill background sensation we're going for."

My 2023 Year In Review

I started doing a year-in-review a couple of years ago. This habit lets me reflect on the highs and process lows of the year and change for next year.

How I made a no-code ‘app’ to track my happiness at work

When you spend 40 hours a week at work, you want to enjoy your job. But countless things are vying for your time & energy. So I made a no-code app to track...

The week off between Christmas and New Years makes me crave a longer slow break.

This will be my sabbatical year at work (next fall) 👀

It’s that time! ✨ My annual portfolio refresh https://lynnandtonic.com
