It’s been slow going, but I think I’m getting close to done with this project. Have to scribe, paint, and install the bookshelves, and then it’s on to drawers and cabinet doors.

I always appreciate help from my shop assistant!
I’ve been really enjoying this built in project so far…we’ll see if I’m saying the same when it’s time to install drawer slides and cabinet hinges 😅
Finally finished the dining table last night! All Ash, finished with Rubio Monocoat “smoke”. Now to decide whether I want to try and make matching chairs…
Haven’t had too much time to work on the table, but the base is fully assembled! First time doing “real” mortise and tenon joints (on the legs)
First time cutting mortises with a router—so satisfying!
The sawmill had some older 3x3 pieces of ash that I’m using for my table legs. So satisfying to mill these up.
It’s beginning to actually look like a table!
I *think* I’m happy with this arrangement. Glue up starts tomorrow!
I bought a whole bunch of Ash at the sawmill today for a dining table, and I’m currently agonizing over how I want to break it all down.
