Plus, Mastodon is icky." Really, it comes down to contributing your intellectual property to Twitter, a private corporation, owned by Elon Musk for free. Recent actions show he views all that content as his proprietary data for him to manipulate and monetize however he sees fit. If you are cool with that, go right ahead.
