@thomasfuchs the sad thing for me is that a pandemic became so politicised both in the US and here in the UK. The virus did not care what people’s political beliefs are, yet we seemed to think that was important.

Jen SimmonsIt’s hard to express how excited I was to get to tell all of you today about what’s in Safari 16.4 beta 1 and iOS & iPadOS 16.4 beta 1 for Home Screen web apps. This represents many, many months of work by some really amazing people, all across Apple. It’s built on foundations that took years to create, especially things like Focus — which let us get the experience of Web Push just right. I am so proud of our team. And feel lucky every day I get to work with them.

I’m already starting to rely on chatgpt for so many things.. convert json to swift structs etc. the good thing about being old? I don’t need to worry about ai taking my job. I just hope it can help remember my name when that time comes.
