@IMGoph @LhasaCM yes, this is going to become a better green space. Don't have the final plans and my memory is hazy on the specifics. Same with the space at L/ 9th/ WV.

@jaybeas

- El Cholo, Pasadena (easy parking garage below)
- Ixtaco Taqueria, El Monte

@jaybeas I don't have recs for Santa Monica 🤷🏻‍♀️ but some recs if you're willing to travel to the San Gabriel Valley:

- Tam's Noodle House, San Gabriel (wonton noodle soup with shrimp)
- The Bund 8, San Gabriel (my dad ordered a $30 ham hock dish that could have easily cost $100 elsewhere)
- NBC Seafood, Monterey Park (did my mom right for her banquet. Also does dim sum during the day)
- Din Tai Fung (a chain, but also the best soup dumplings)
- Five Star Seafood, San Gabriel (dim sum)

@LhasaCM I'm kind of going thru a lot but I think the one oversight testimony I'm going to focus on is one focused on victim blaming language of their press releases. It's down right disrespectful and hot pieces of garbage.
At last month's Florida Ave NE project walk thru, I learned that the final design REMOVED the crosswalks at M St NE (btwn 6th & 7th Sts NE). Do you use these crosswalks? Tell me about your walk. Would you cross at 6th or 7th instead? Trying to get these crosswalks into the plan.

@LhasaCM @veleau_monica The dashboard now looks updated. The two tabs align. The 12/22 Ohio Drive SW crash is included in the 2nd tab.

I noticed in mobile view that the 2nd tab appears to omit two crashes that occurred in 2022 but the individuals did not succumb to their injuries until 2023. However, if you toggle to view in desktop mode, all 52 crashes are there.

@LhasaCM @veleau_monica OMG why does this dashboard tile pull from different data than the other tile/tab. Gonna email some folks after family dinner.

@LhasaCM @veleau_monica Unfortunately not. I have a public listing of all of the MPD press releases here: https://dcfamiliesforsafestreets.org/vision-zero/

Some links might be broken because MPD updated its website and not all of the press releases transferred over.

Vision Zero – DC Families for Safe Streets

@LhasaCM @veleau_monica The number of people by mode section has also been outdated for a few days, and do not add up to the new total of 52. There was a press release yesterday for a driver who was killed on Friday. But I do not know who is the 52nd fatality.
@eRileyKc @veleau_monica Sometimes friends and loved ones decline an event or take their time to express their preferences, which is perfectly ok. Everyone processes grief and trauma differently, and on their own timeline.
