"Google handed over a trove of personal data about a student and journalist to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in response to a subpoena that had not been approved by a judge.

The search giant provided ICE with the usernames, physical addresses, and an itemized list of services associated with the Google account of Amandla Thomas-Johnson, a British student and journalist who attended a pro-Palestinian protest in 2024.

Google also turned over Thomas-Johnson’s IP addresses, phone numbers, subscriber numbers and identities, and credit card and bank account numbers linked to his account."

Rojava konnte bisher existieren, weil es geschickt eine Politik des Dritten Weges zwischen den Machtblöcken verfolgte. Das Zusammenfallen der Interessen von USA, Türkei und syrischer Übergangsregierung stellt nun eine existenzielle Bedrohung dar. Dabei spielt auch der Zugang zum Öl eine Rolle.

Remember "don't print this email" in signatures that was a bit cringe? It doesn't feel that cringe anymore in retrospect. I'm doing an experiment now with this new email signature :D Anyone doing something similar? Could it catch on?
