I have spent basically every evening this week playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. I didn't think I would like it, but now I can't stop.
I've even contemplated buying a fucking wheel, pedals, and an eye tracker...
I've always loved sharing my knowledge with people, I'll happily debug any issue, mentor people, teach them all the random shit that is in my head, even though my massive imposter syndrome makes it impossible for me to believe I could know things others don't.
I do however find myself these days spending more time helping others than doing my own work. I'm like 80/20 helping/mentoring as an estimation. I am counting all of the brain storming/idea nudging I do as part of that 80%.
I was worried about how Orpheus would react, but wanted him to have a play buddy since he has SO. MUCH. ENERGY.
Tali has a perfect, sweet, outgoing, and gentle personality and Orpheus had no issue accepting a new friend. They're now inseparable.
Still a tiny bit of friction, like when Tali enters a new room with this big brother (today was my office), or when he uses one of the cat trees for the first time. But Orpheus relents very quickly.
Tomorrow he'll have access to my bedroom.
