@DLink yeah when you look at old newspapers you often see articles where people were trying to warn about the consequences of things that got totally ignored

@realhackhistory That article sounds pretty impressive, given that by that time only one computer virus (Brain) was in the wild (not counting research experiments and the Elk Cloner for Apple ][) - and it was just being released; it wasn't discovered in the USA until 1987.

In reality, however, the article is probably based on hearsay about Fred Cohen's research experiments with viruses in 1984.
