Oh, and yeah, it is worse than Cheney and the WHIG. This time, they have infected the corpus, not created a group outside feeding us all bad intel to get us into a war.

Ok, so here's my thing about the intel assessment battles over the Iranian bombing of nuclear facilities.

I trust none of them now.

Why?

Because Trump has put toadies into the intelligence apparatus who will manage the intelligence to suit Trump.

It's as simple of that.

Our intelligence agencies have many great people working in them, but, the people in charge now, will and have, fit facts to narratives for Trump over "The truth shall set you free"

So… that’s a yes

Via Kyle Griffin:

Pete Hegseth just dodged several questions about whether Iran moved highly enriched uranium from the three nuclear facilities targeted by the U.S. before the strikes.

He chose to attack the reporter who questioned him instead.

One of trump’s personal lawyers threatened to sue the NYT for libel since it reported about the leaked intelligence that concluded the damage from the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities was nowhere near as devastating as trump said it was.

Now the #trump admin claims the bombing “severely damaged” the Iranian nuclear program.

It is unclear whether the US knows the location of Iran’s enriched uranium. The IAEA stated it was moved before the bombing.

"IntelBroker's" real identity is Kai West, a British national, according to court filings now revealed by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York today.

U.S. is seeking his extradition from France, where he was arrested on February 5 and detained.

Here's a pic of him from his 2023 license (from court filing):

(continuing) Starting to work my way through the Complaint. There are four counts in the complaint, one each of:

Conspiracy to Commit Computer Intrusions;
Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud;
Accessing a Protected Computer to Defraud and Obtain Value; and
Wire Fraud

The complaint does not mention ShinyHunters at all. It mentions his group, “CyberN[------]" extensively and his and the group's activity on a forum that they do not name but is clearly Breach Forums in both its iterations.

From the complaint, it appears that at least one member of CyberN----- is being considered CC-1 (co-conspirator 1). It also appears that West's posts and sales listings on the forums would have raised more than $2 million in sales.

The complaint also details all the OpSec mistakes West made that enabled law enforcement to track his activities and identify him. Making sales to undercover agents was among his poorer decisions, but there were other errors that appear to be more significant, including giving an undercover agent a BTC wallet to make payment to when that wallet had a history that could be analyzed, and the wallet had been created by an online banking account in West's name, etc.

As is typical, the court filing does not name the victim entities, but you may be able to recognize some of them if you were on the forum a lot.

You can read the complaint at https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/media/1404616/dl?inline while I go take a look at the indictment.
