@campuscodi Was it China giving that advice, though? Knowing absolutely no context, all this quote says is "Experts urged Italy...", not "China urged" or "Chinese experts urged"

@jerry As someone who's paid so little attention to it that I barely even know Threads exists, why is them federating a bad thing?
Kenn WhiteThe painful thing for LastPass users who did unfortunately reuse their master password on other sites is that this case is now an *offline* attack - which means 2FA or changing one's LastPass web password (or even master password) won't help much - the attackers have a point-in-time snapshot of all the credentials in those stolen vaults. And if you were using a weak (or worse, previously leaked) master password when they were stolen, you're screwed.

@amuse I prefer to say "What did I get wrong?" rather than "Did I get something wrong?" The former implies that I expect to be corrected and invites that input, while the latter could still discourage the more timid folks from speaking up.
Take with a heap of salt, though, I've never had a crisis to assume command of (yet), and only one opportunity on a small software team to put this to use (it worked well there, though).
