@drvolts That's correct.
Think of it like the old U.S. phone systems, before 10 digit dialing. You dialed seven numbers if it was local, but if it was long distance, you always had to put in 10 (technically 11) numbers anyway.
The concept is the same for Mastodon, at this time.
