@brunoph I've sent it to them.
@[email protected] no joke, I was socializing this idea when Mastodon first broke out a bit back in 2016 or whenever that was. GSA would be the perfect place to host it, and agencies should have a presence.

@Annalee it's unfortunate that it also takes away the best example of the different Android and iOS architectures. Android's respects the user more by allowing you to use alternate SMS apps that supports Signal's ability to do a combined inbox.

This feature has never been present in the iOS version (which to be fair, probably gives them more confidence to remove it on Android).

"Information about people’s movements, collected via apps on their phones, is regularly sold by data brokers."

This is one of the things that gets me the angriest. Society never had a chance to agree to this, to even discuss this, until it was too late.

Deleting Your Period Tracker Won’t Protect You

Tweets telling women to do that went viral after Roe v. Wade was overturned, but experts say other digital data are more likely to reveal an illegal abortion.

USAJOBS
Good evening.

To celebrate the DOTGOV Online Trust in Government Act of 2019, a friend put together a list of bills with recursive acronyms:

GSE Subsidy Elimination Act
OIRA Insight, Reform, and Accountability Act
TAA for Automation Act
GAO Access and Oversight Act
DEA Enforcement and Authority Act
GPS Protection & Safety Act
MRSA Research and Study Act
FOIA Oversight and Implementation Act
FDA Device Accountability Act
EPA Pays Act

Checking out Mastodon for the first time in around a year, and wow: the interface and options have come a long way. I'm ready to give this place another go into 2019.
@Gargron good morning!!

I'm moving! After a wonderful 5½ years in San Francisco, I'm going to New York City, around the end of this month.

I'll be doing the Summer 2 batch at Recurse Center, starting July 5. If you're in the city, hit me up! (And please help me find a place.)
