Twitter has broken my brain.

I’m sure there are plenty of shit-takes here and on BSky, but I’m not seeing them here or on BSky. People aren’t QTing or QSing them into my feed.

I almost don’t know what to do with myself because I’m so used to having my guard up.

I don’t really understand the different between “Home,” “Local,” and “Federated.”

What am I looking at?

This is my little dog, Dice, (a primarily chihuahua/pitty mix, with some poodle and dalmatian among other things thrown in for good measure). It’s his first 4th of July with me. I just got him in January.

He’s currently got both a Thundershirt and pheromone collar on. We’ve got music going and scented candles lit. CBD treats have been deployed.

Despite everything I’ve done to help him stay calm tonight, he insists on being curled up right next to me, despite my asking him to get in his own bed.

I also am supposed to work tomorrow. I have never been able to sleep with him right next to or on top of me.

Relatedly, are there U.S. statistics on pet owners calling in on July 5th?
