I’m the tech savvy guy in the family. I’ve always said that I keep windows around for gaming and some level of music production. However, if this happens with Windows 12, I’ll move 100% to Linux and deal with the ramifications. Most of my game collection is on Steam which I know has some Linux support now for certain titles.

I rarely had a chance to play around on it when it was open due to my work schedule, but I got a remote access tool set up that can control my rig remotely. FT8 during the day on 10m has been getting me a ton of interesting contacts that I just don’t see on the other bands at night.

Absolutely.

I’m very new to HF and anything except 2m / 70cm repeaters so I might be overly optimistic, but it seemed like a cool idea for the community. But I also acknowledge I have no idea the work that goes into organizing such an event.
