Here's a fun thing I made today. I have a cron job running a skill on my moltis install. It uses a local gmail-mcp server (read-only permissions) and qwen 3.5. No data goes to the cloud.

It reads all my inboxes and gives me a report in my Obsidian. This is why I am so excited about local models. I don't trust OpenAI/Anthropic with my email contents. I don't trust my LLM to send emails. No problem!

I regret to inform everyone that the iPad Pro with nano texture and the smart keyboard is a really great lil device. Nano texture has improved my life so much over the years. I can be outside again!

I’ve been using it for morning hot tub writing / getting social media off my desktop at my desk for a while now and it’s brought me so much joy.

It's funny to see vibe coders re-discovering the entire reason GitHub exists. I get it. These tools let you move fast. Branches and PRs can feel clunky and unnecessary.

The more interesting question: what should GitHub be right now? I'd argue for radical simplification. Focus on code viewing, dead simple issue tracking, and simplified PRs.

Way back when, I created The Zen of GitHub to direct the taste of a growing software company. I'm still really proud of it.
