I've always loved apples, especially in the #fall. My grandmother's farm in upstate NY had an old overgrown apple orchard, and I have warm childhood memories of climbing apple trees to get the good ones.

My #math mind always wondered why dried apple slices sometimes develop negative curvature. They look so much like tiny hyperbolic planes, but I suspect they aren't in theory.
