New solar node build.
I started learning the basics in Autodesk Fusion. My first project is a base plate for my new Meshtastic solar node, being built inside a 5€ Famatel electrical box.
Great fun to learn a new app!

Cycling with mudguards is a must this time of year.
Another Lego sphere tryout – an octahedron made of triangles. The triangles are made from 3 1x6 plates connected by "in-plane" hinges. The triangles are then connected to each other with "out-of-plane" hinges. I realized the sides could be decorated with the same in-plane hinges which gave the thing a nice bit of texture 😊
Tried out some Lego sphere possibilities - here is one I quite like, could be classified as a cuboctahedron I suppose. Made from these triangular pieces joined by hinges in the corners.
The triangles are apparently known as "Plate, Modified 6 x 6 Hexagonal with Pin Hole" on Bricklink, the second hand Lego store. Pretty hard to find unless you order them from there
