I LOVE Amateur Radio!! I’m in Washington, DC for work this week, and while out riding a rental bicycle I see a couple guys sitting at a picnic table and then I see a radio and antenna. I yell “CQ DX!” KU8V and KN4XW come over to say Hi, and they invited me to join them in their activation. I managed 41 Q’s before I had to get back on the bike and get back to work. Thanks guys for the laughs and the radio therapy, and thanks to the stations I was able to work. Hope to do it again sometime.

Bucket list accomplishment today! I worked @VE6LK !! In the latest Ham Radio Workbench episode they talked about an app called HamAlert, so I got it all setup and it pinged me that Vince was on 15 CW; I travel for work and am not home so I logged into my remote setup at home from my phone and within minutes I had Vince in my log. The first of (hopefully) many contacts with him. Thanks Vince!
