Courage the Cowardly Dog. I know it’s a kids’ show, but I was terrified of entering the basement for months after seeing the episode with the white floating head
Really glad to hear that. I’ve been using a Fairphone 5 for about 2 years now and while it’s certainly not on the level of a flagship I can’t say I miss anything. Sure, a better camera or faster processor would be nice to have, but both get the job done and are certainly not necessary for the average user. Samsung and Apple would have us believe that we all need a DLSR camera strapped to a supercomputer in our pocket in order to swipe on Instagram and take the occasional selfie. I’d gladly trade that in to make the world a tiny bit better by not supporting slavery and not wasting resources.

I’ve read that muscles grow better if they are stimulated multiple times per week. That’s why I wanted to get essentially two full GZCLP workouts in one day, so I hit each muscle group twice per week with similar intensity. If I were to do normal GZCLP there would always be some muscle group that’s only exercised once in the week.

The idea of supersetting T2 was to save time, yes. I haven’t done it before and decided to give it a chance, but i then definitely too fatiguing.

Honestly, thinking about it, it might be worth it to to drop the second T1 and replace it with T2 of the same exercise, so all the muscles are still stimulated but it’s not so generally fatiguing and time consuming. Something like this:

Week 1: Day 1:

  • T1 Barbell squat
  • T2 Dumbbell shoulder press
  • T2 Romanian deadlift
  • T2 Incline dumbbell bench press
  • T3 Lat pulldown

Day 2:

  • T1 Barbell bench press
  • T2 Split squats
  • T2 Dumbbell shoulder press
  • T2 Romanian deadlift
  • T3 Dumbbell row

Week 2: Day 1:

  • T1 Deadlift
  • T2 Incline dumbbell bench press
  • T2 Split squats
  • T2 Dumbbell shoulder press
  • T3 Lat pulldown

Day 2:

  • T1 Overhead press
  • T2 Romanian deadlift
  • T2 Incline dumbbell bench press
  • T2 Split squats
  • T3 Dumbbell row

Adapting GZCLP to 2 days per week

It is, yeah. Honestly, I’m really not sure when one would ever need one of those, but it looks cool if nothing else.

Birthday gift from my girlfriend.

Driver San Francisco kinda. You spend most of the game in a coma, but you do wake up and do some real stuff for the ending.

Depending on your definition of nothing happens, Mad Max too. At the start of the game Max loses his car, meets this car fanatic and for the entire game he helps you build the “Magnum Opus”, the most badass car the wasteland has seen. At the end, you lose your Magnum Opus, he gets killed, and you get your original car back. You have a big impact on other people throughout the story, but as far as the protagonist is concerned, he is pretty much exactly where he started.

That’s not always the case. Some games stream in assets as you play so you might get bad pop-in or freezes. Forza Horizon 5 was nearly unplayable on an HDD for me, because the map couldn’t load in fast enough while driving quickly. No issues after reinstalling it on an SSD.
I’m still relatively new, I have no idea what a moss stitch is, lol. The spots are formed by switching colour after every stitch on even rounds and using only black on odd rounds. It sounds annoying, but once you get used to holding the two yarns at once it’s surprisingly easy. You just grab the other colour every time you have to pull through both loops on the hook.
It wasn’t actually as hard as it looks. The colour changes were definitely intimidating at first, but surprisingly manageable. The pattern is by June Gilbank and is for sale on her site, Etsy or Ravelry
