Hours of #shibari study and practice. Hundreds spent on rope and accessories. And the most common use case I have is tying closet doors shut so the cats don't get in.

@Oliviawerth In my particular case, the house came with a pool, so it'd be criminal to not take my work out by the pool when the weather's nice.

@RinaVolpina yeah, the hood really works well with it. With my hair flowing out the back, it has a more obvious "this is a mask" look. The hood makes you look more like a kitsune person.

@RinaVolpina It's pretty great! Sometimes the glare from the EL wire around the eyes makes it tricky to see small things on my mixer, but it's definitely worth it for the looks on people's faces.

@Subrote Yep. This right here. When it comes to the family I was born into, I'm as close to disowned as it gets without actually being disowned. My partners and my friends are what I have in this world. And that's fine, because they do a far better job of being a family to me.
