Walked to the park in the rain a while ago. Rain stopped before I felt like taking a video, but I got a picture.
New paws, who dis?

Here's a video of the "closing the one-way valve" issue.

This is much more noticable when inflating on it's own, rather than on someone's head, but can probably still occur. Fix is the same, though: increase the pressure inside the head (by pressing on it) until the valve closes and you stop hearing air leakage.

In short, it's a bit of a tradeoff. I find it useful due to my use of a bike hand pump, though.

Here's something I stumbled upon somewhat recently by complete accident.

I lost the retainer cap for the valve core on my kariwanz hood, so I ended up buying some replacement valves.

As it turns out, those replacement valve cores are much easier to inflate, though they rely much more on internal pressure to close the one-way valve, and it can leak if you don't deliberately spike the pressure to prompt it to close.

In the video, I compare the original valve core with one of the replacements.

Hasn't felt too difficult to get both paws by yourself on after lubing up the sleeve. Can be a little tricky dealing with the sleeve if it catches & folds when putting the second one on, but still doable.

For people looking at ordering a pair and wondering if their hands are going to fit, this twitter user measured their hand size: https://fxtwitter.com/SiliconDoggy/status/1820865902985855466

YMMV.

If I ever run into you at an event/convention, and I have the paws on hand, I'll probably be glad to let you try them on. (I like letting people try stuff I have on. I try to keep a personal policy of trying things before buying them, but that's not always possible.)

- "do they feel sustainable enough to sleep in?"
+ Not how I was using them. (typing, using computer) Prob depends on how active your paws are being, finger strength, finger width, and what lubrication you used. (my hands were wrinkly when I took them off, since there was water trapped because I put them on in the shower)
+ Sleeping probably won't work for me. I'm sensitive to "stuff on my body" while I'm sleeping, much as I find the idea of sleeping in gear fun. YMMV.

Impressions/answers to questions asked while I had these on for ~1h:
- They have some noticeable heft to them.
- Shower does work for getting both on, getting another person is probably easier.
- Zippers and buttons (on clothing) are difficult.
- It is possible to hold (some?) drink containers with one paw (after stabilizing with the other while picking up). I tried a 12oz mason jar and an empty soda can. YMMV.
- They do not fit into Index controllers (lol)

Oh, right. I remember thinking that the thumb felt a tad short, but that might feel better overall than if the thumb was a bit too long.
First (~15min) impressions of my set of #furrjoi #paw gloves:
- Interesting mix between dexterity and lack-thereof.
- That said, *using* that dexterity is tiring, since the silicone is trying to spring back. (inb4 someone tells me I need to strengthen my hands, probably true)
- Not compatible with touchscreens.
- Haven't tried putting both on at once, yet. Definitely need some sort of lubrication to get it on, but water is enough.
