The Washington Examiner uses the phrase "scandal" to describe the on-going coverage of "someone found some cocaine in the White House."
Scandal seems like a hugely overblown term for it. Even if it was found on the Resolute Desk it would still be a less concerning scandal than any given Thursday in the Trump administration.
