The organisers of the Maxell AI art exhibition at Kuse ga Aru Art Studio in Kyoto sent me on some photographs from the finalist exhibition which ran from 19/10/25 to 03/11/25 - the gallery looks really great and I very much appreciate the time taken by the curators to set up my piece there. Each of the works selected were really different but all used AI in a creative context. My Video Games That Don't Exist is an AI driven machinima movie, but the other projects included the infusion of AI augmented reality and physical computing in really novel ways. Many thanks to the judges and also to the curatorial team who have been really helpful throughout the process of preparing for this exhibition and have also kept me in the loop all along the way https://lnkd.in/ejQQeVdH

I've updated the publications page on my website โžก๏ธ https://kierannolan.com/publications The new layout auto-generates the list and all links from a BibTex file. The same source file can be used to generate a print doc using LaTeX, very handy. Huge thanks everyone who's helped me get my research out there๐Ÿ™

A test at converting an AI generated video scene into an immersive 3D environment. The interactivity adds more tangibility in a sense, but like a dream is still ungraspable, breaking into glitchy triangles when the viewer gets too close.
