The meme doesn’t really work this way but… I’m bitter so whatever.

AI meme version 2.0... because reasons - Lemmy.World
Apparently my other meme with nearly a 1,000 upvotes was reported and removed by
mods for a rule violation. But just to clarify, the people in that photo were
ACTORS posing for stock photography. No elderly people were actually being force
fed while a photographer snapped shots and uploaded them to Adobe. Anyway, enjoy
the happy baby! (Disclaimer: This baby may or may not be aware that it is being
photographed while eating. This is not my baby, that is not my hand, and I did
not take this photo.)

Notification sounds while connected to bluetooth

Notification sounds while connected to bluetooth - Lemmy.World
Every 6 months or so I go looking for a solution to this problem and still
haven’t found one. When my phone (Pixel 7) is connected to my car by bluetooth,
the phone itself will not make any notification sounds. It is attempting to send
all notification sounds to the car. The problem is, if I am currently not
listening to any media and the head unit is off, I will not hear anything at
all. The only possible way to hear it, is to have the head unit on and set to
bluetooth input whether or not I’m listening to anything. This was not always
the case. I think it changed after Android 13 was released but I’m not 100%
sure.

Halo S02E07 - Classic Sci-Fi Easter Egg (x-post) - Lemmy.World
I’ve been searching around for a couple of days to see if anyone noticed this.
In Halo S02E07 around the 38 minute mark, Talia Perez is staring at her
reflection just before Master Chief walks in to talk to her. Over the loud
speaker, you can hear someone say “Tango-Hotel-Xray-one-one-three-eight”.
(headphones helps) That’s a classic reference to George Lucas’ early film
THX-1138. Used heavily throughout the Star Wars universe and many other films.

It took a long time but I finally finished my Apollo 11 metal earth model kit.
These are no joke when it comes to difficulty!
Here’s a few more photos from my visit.

Space Shuttle Discovery at the Udvar-Hazy Center - Lemmy.World
I had been wanting to see the Space Shuttle Discovery for quite some time. I
only live about 3 hours from the Udvar-Hazy Center in Washington D.C. This past
weekend I finally got the chance and it was glorious! If you don’t know, this
was the shuttle that carried the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit.
Even though I have the exact version mentioned in this post, I have been unable to find any flags in the debug menu that will enable the ability to change colors in a chat conversation. For some reason neither the post or the telegram channel it links to, do not mention which flags to enable. I’ve seen it mention on other platforms that “bugle.enable_custom_themes” is the specific flag, however that does not exist on the current beta version as far as I can tell. The version I have and the one mentioned in the post is messages.android_20240125_01_RCO0.phone.openbeta_dynamic.
