Started to get some snowflakes missed in with the raindrops this morning while taking the dog out.

Still trying to fill up the follower list and get the feed moving a little.

Had some folks tell me it's time to switch over the Mastodon, both directly and indirectly.

And man... I miss Tech Twitter. Voices like @carnage4life have been missing from my feed for too long.

Who else should I be following in the tech space here?

It's amazing how much different the Twitter experience is with Tweetdeck.

No algo... just the feed... as curated by myself.

(shhhh.... don't tell anyone... I fully expect it to be shutdown if a certain someone finds out.)

I’ve been on Twitter since 2008. I’m no power user, I averaged 50 tweets a month over the last year, but my feed was curated so I could stay on top of trends, follow hobbies, and just plain consume content I enjoyed.

The last few weeks though, it’s just drama.

That’s why I’m here. The people who share content that I care about have started engaging here… and I want to be where those people are.

It’ll be hard to recreate the same experience, but it’s worth the effort to make things better.
