Yes. Commander Yao explaining bravery to Grace.

Great movie.

- Not a stupid DC Marvel superhero movie with the same plot.
- Not a sequel milking a dead cow.
- Not a needless remake.
- Didn't substitute special effects for plot.
- No gun fetishism.
- No endless boring sex scenes.
- No tedious romantic angst.
- No one dimensional bad guy.
- Proper science fiction without 'prophecies to be fulfilled' or 'chosen ones'.

Excellent movie version of an excellent book.
I hope they never make a sequel.

So, so tired of cop shows. I want a series about three generations of an activist family. The grandparents were part of the anti-war/civil rights movement in the 60s. One of their kids is a slightly conservative gay corporate lawyer, the other manages a community center, and her kid is a trans college activist who's angry all the time. Throw in friends (and enemies) for all three generations, and start filming.
Hello Southern California hams! Anyone want a free ticket to the Big Bear Ham Escape (April 25 – 27, 2025)? I can't make it to the event. They have a no-refund policy, but would transfer my ticket to another individual.
