@basicbishoujo i guess for me the drawing isn't the final outcome. I work in 3D physical medium...just never learned to draw past 2d...sketching out ideas hurts my head...

...to all young artists (old too) don't matter how you plan if you plan, on the spot or ahead of time.

@basicbishoujo I have never been able to sketch or draw out what I do....

I just start working, I never know where I am going.

Every now and again I get guilt for being a bad "artist" and buy a sketchbook.

It becomes my next coaster for too much coffee

out of all the functional art I have created inventing the floating marbkle diffuser makes me smile. Watch the water chop in this slow motion video....forget your tiny bubble and saw cut diffuser.

my 40th birthday.... and true to form over the last 21 years of blowing glass now I make my self something fun. This year I made a beer stein for my self, with some old school cane, fume, and clear glass. This is me working on it my, bro in the background heating up the torch. #mastoart

Hey all wrote a piece on economics of MY art (no story is the same) as my discussion with #mastoart folks on the economic realities of time and glass sparked some interesting choices.

Has me wondering about the role economics plays on all art forms.

And how truly blessed the moments free of constraint can be.
