I forgot to mention that consistently student evals of my research methods class blast the class/me for their having to learn statistics. This fall, a student eval stated that the student was lied to about the class and how much he hated math. I don’t know who lied to this person as I’m upfront at the beginning that the class teaches base quant methods which means stats.
Time to throw this out on here…and serve as a distraction as I’m procrastinating on yoga and work that is now piling up. Happy Saturday
I love trying to sign into my university account and their 2-step authentication of having to send me a text says “I’ve hit my limit on text verification codes” on the first try. Why is there a limit? What madness is this?
House Dems introduced a bill to prevent Trump from holding office under Sec. 3 of the 14th Amendment. Best comment: “not enough West Wing references” in my presidency class. For the record, I have never watched a single episode and never plan to at this point, so I take this as a compliment.
Worst comment: “this class would have been much better in person” to my online research methods course, a class that I also do teach in person.
I’m glad my university is moving away from counting these for RTP purposes
