I miss older internet so much...
A few years ago we had forums, on the forums we had communities. Forums worked so well even on very low end pc or a simple cellphone with Opera Mini. Forums were well organised and had directories, proper working search function and allowed for self expression with use of posts formatting, signature bars and just participating in different subforums and threads. Now those forums are mostly either dead, dying or just being spammy places. Centralised services murdered forums... Mastodon is good, but I'd still love to have forums...
