Had a load of new followers today despite having neglected to post anything here for several months. Intrigued to know what led today's followers to find me.

@gossithedog vendors are coming under increasing pressure on their own bottom lines. In SAAS recurring revenue growth is a key metric. They're all looking to get more from existing customers.

Key thing to ask is what they're going to deliver to justify the increase. If no change, no new features, no useable increase in usability, then they'll find it hard to justify.

Also look at multi year deals - many will squash their increase if they can lock you in for 3 years.

FX headwinds are hurting US vendors selling into the UK too.

I'm going to refer to ongoing self harm at Twitter as ElonGate. I fear it's going to be a rather drawn out affair.
