All I want is a dumb phone that can do Signal messaging. KaiOS doesn't support Signal, and Android has no good smaller phone options. Pretty sure going iPhone mini with almost nothing installed is the best route here.
I feel like I'm at a point where I know enough about programming to be dangerous, but not enough to be useful. I just know things, but can't do anything important with it.
A good amount of my personal friends use Facebook/Instagram. I often wonder if I'd feel better just making an account again and trying to connect with them that way, since trying to call them direct/set up group chats hasn't worked previously.
