For a long time I put others before myself. And more often than not, it was to my own detriment. Even worse, my sacrifice just as often wasn’t appreciated by those I put before myself. I think it’s about time that changes and I focus on my own happiness and well being for once.

Far too often people don’t take the mental health of others seriously enough. You can only push someone so far before they break. And when they break, it’s not pretty. Social media breeds and encourages toxicity towards others. And one of these days someone will get pushed too far.

In this space people are far too quick to abandon friends at the first sign of trouble. That's not how friendship works. When your friends are in a tough spot, make a mistake or hit hard times, don't leave their side to save yourself. Stand by them. Cause that's when they need you most for guidance.
