It’s time to hop Mastodon instances again. I’ve loved my time at beige.party and @theropologist is one hell of an admin. But, it’s time I chart a new course.

The droids behind the scenes will start transferring my account shortly, so I’ll see you on the other end of hyperspace.

And, if everything fails miserably, I’ll add my instance to the scrap heep and return to the beigest party this side of the galaxy.

@al_w That’s good to know. I have a sit/stand desk, but I tend to have the screen in the same place and just adjust the desk, so maybe it won’t be an issue?

I know when the #Apple Studio Display first came out there were some performance issues and bugs. Now that it’s been out for two years, what do people think? Is it a worthwhile purchase? It’s so pretty!

Packing for a whole house renovation reveals all the stuff you don’t need. You ask yourself, is it worth packing this, storing it for a month, and unpacking it later? The answer is very often no!

Back when Windows 95 came out you could drag "The Internet" icon to the bin and it'd pop up a message that said "Are you sure you want to delete The Internet?" and we thought it was hilarious but in hindsight maybe one of us should have said "yes".
