No, Your Honor, all of the torrented Blu-ray rips on my Plex server were being used to train AI.
@Gargron Interesting that the author of the video replied on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/DevinTownsend/comments/1jlshxt/comment/mk6pl8s
@leekduck Here in Australia we won 2 Lapras raids with 18 randomly assembled trainers (54 starting pokemon) and no special prep. Approx 15 pokemon were still standing at the end of each raid. 4-5 trainers had mushrooms (it’s helpful the number is visible before raid starts).
@inthehands Adding “not eligible to vote” to the total is not relevant. If those people could vote, a third of them would likely vote for Trump, a third for Harris. Also, since a third of eligible voters didn’t vote, they clearly don’t feel strongly enough about Trump’s risk to go out and vote against him. There isn’t any better “alternative story”, unfortunately.
@Gargron All government agencies and public media should use self-hosted Mastodon instances for their customer-facing communication. Won’t happen in the US anytime soon, but I wouldn’t say it’s an unlikely scenario in Europe. When that happens, users will follow.
@crumbler I was reading this on Mastodon and it took me a while to realise you are talking about the Threads app
@crumbler Sometimes I am wondering what’s the cumulative energy cost of AI generations that added absolutely zero value
I put together a meme
@theconversationau There’s lessons here about how people have to be taught to manage their social media accounts: setting account to “public” should mean that public use of content is permitted. It’s hard to argue this in the wake of a personal tragedy though.
