Gotta say, I'm getting mighty sick of seeing Sue's Melon.

Federal election time: that one time when Australians are united in their dislike of election ads and their love of democracy sausages and cupcakes.

I've only played the demo so far, but I'm really enjoying this game. Little-Known Galaxy seems to be a farming/community/exploration type sim game but in space on a spaceship - what's not to love?! #LittleKnownGalaxy #gaming

While looking for knitting patterns, I came across this image. It's a strange image of something trying to be a woman. I can't decide if it's a case of photoshop gone wrong or an AI attempt. Woman looks unsettlingly long.

April Fool's doesn't work at the moment.

Them: Shocking announcement.
Me: deadpan. Okay, add it to the shit pile.
Them: Just joking.
Me: still deadpan. Okay, that tracks too. Take it out of the shit pile, for now.

Had a rubbish day at work all about our future so I've started knitting a pair of socks for myself. I've never finished a pair of socks before. So far I've knitted the first toe. So how far do you think I'll get this time?

Edit after poll close: Thank you to those with so much positivity and hope in me. I'm not yet to the halfway point of the first sock so it's still anyone's game at this point.

This time you'll finish both.

Hi there skirt-wearers, what's your solution to static cling and stopping your skirts sticking to your legs and/or rising up? I'd like to find a non-product solution if possible as I'd rather not need to spray or rub things on myself and my clothes all the time.

Do you find some fabric combinations stick less? I will always need to wear something on my legs under my skirts.

Does anyone find skirt slips when well?

Thanks for your ideas!

We spent the day at the Lost Trades Fair in Bendigo. If anyone is nearby and wants to go I can definitely recommend it. So much skill on display!

It was ridiculously hot though and the sun relentless. It's on all long weekend. I suggest don't forget your hat and water if you go!

I bought scone and biscuit cutters, and boots that I now need to wait for them to make for me, but I expect they will last me a long time and be repairable.

If you can't make it I still suggest looking at the website and checking out the list of demonstrations for craftsmen to find out about if you're looking for anything in particular.
