writers' conferences. I don't understand if literary agents ask if the people they listen to will submit just to be polite
any developmental editors out there who are EFA members?
@ninavizz
Kinda bums me out that our kids were raised on organic food and now there’s no way they can afford it, even not eating a lot of animal protein.

@ninavizz

My son works for an agricultural arm of the government. You’d be pleasantly surprised how seriously crop water is monitored. But I will say I personally still buy mostly organic coz I can. He probably can’t. Make of that what you will.

@victor

Is this the passage between the 1/9, 2/3 (west side) and the 4/5 (east side) subways? If so, this is the bowels of hell.

@ashdragon

When you think about it, YA have lived through a pandemic. They want to live in a world of possibilities, right?

@ashdragon

I love the first sentence!

What does it feel like riding on the dragon? How fast does it go? What does the princess see? Put your reader on the back of the dragon. Does the princess just ride or imagine while aloft?
I’m thinking Scheherazade, not Disney

@MooseAllain clearly somebody who’s gone to my skool for spelling
I think we should all be given a do-over for each submission. At each level (I’m hopeful). It’s wwjd, right?
I queried the same agent a second time n two weeks. The second time was by accident - I query family saga agents on the QueryTracker agents now open to queries on Fridays. GDammit! I ordinarily am so careful: I consult my spreadsheet & check agent if is still at the agency, look for any news articles or Tweets. But nooooo, I just sent a flyer. And now I’m irrationally convinced she’s gonna rat me out to other agents
