Over the weekend I picked out the wooden boards / borders and more book spines. That worked quite well! And the wooden borders helped to connect the floating islands in the two middle shelfs.
I also had a look at the green pile and build the big tree next to the zebra.
Tray situation: four trays of mixed pieces left, one for green pieces, one for book spines, and one for wooden bords / borders.
I have no real plan what to do next. Perhaps I will have a go at the blue pieces / sky.
Made good progress in the first week.
I started with the white, blue und purple piles and could almost complete the lower shelf with its auroras, snow and animals in winter coat. Also I could attach some of the book spines and animals to the frame.
Later I went through the red and yellow piles and assembled more book spines and added them to the blue ones.
The green pile and five trays of misc pieces are left. I'm planing to pick out more pieces with book spines and the wooden shelfs next.
Today I finished the sorting.
I sorted mainly by colour but while doing that I picked out the frame, blue book spines, some animal patterns and the rainbow on top. I have lots of miscellaneous pieces left on seven grey trays and am missing one piece from the frame.

Ich warte auf die ersten Schneeglöckchen. Laut DWD Phänologie Berlin/Brandenburg 2026 muß ich mich noch einen guten Monat gedulden. Aber ich kann schon mal nach der ersten Haselblüte ausschau halten.
