I’m still bummed that I missed out on all the Meshtastic shenanigans this year. My LoRa radios that I ordered months ago finally arrived today 😞 Still, I’m glad that the community managed to successfully stress test the protocol! https://meshtastic.org/blog/that-one-time-at-defcon/

@enemyscout @defcon I don’t believe that number has been published. I suspect that the cash-friendly registration makes it somewhat challenging to accurately track. As an aside, I don’t believe that a comparison such as “X occurrences of Y report type per 1000 attendees” is valuable since very small numbers are often used to justify bad behavior. Ex: “10 SA reports out of xx,xxx attendees is less than 1%! That doesn’t seem like a lot!”
The significance of @defcon leadership standing before the community to present the transparency report cannot be overstated. It reflects remarkable organizational integrity and a commitment to holding both themselves and the community accountable. DEFCON is, without question, a truly special place.
