Today I withdrew money from my EU bank account from another EU country. I was charged 5+ Euro. So much for a single european market.

When I lived in Japan I had this picture taped to my mailbox because I was tired of the flyers. Many Japanese who later met me told me that they consider it "rude". I guess it has to do with the fact that I'm forcing anyone walking past the mailboxes to see this "violence" scene. Japanese translation: "Unsolicited flyers = death".

Members of German Chaos Computer Club (CCC) have demonstratively patched "highly secure" VPN-routers encrypting medical data
in order to enable the use of updated encryption certificates.

Router manufacturers had provided devices without a certificate update option.
The hack could save health insurances & their customers from up to 400 mio €€€ of extra cost for new hardware.
