@daringfireball I don’t understand why more people don’t use MVNOs. We switched to US Mobile and only pay $28/month (including taxes and fees!) for 10 GB of shared data, and the service is identical since it literally uses Verizon’s network. It’s almost too good to be true!

@NitP @daringfireball It’s handy in a pinch if I need to access something like a 2FA code and my phone is charging in another room. Definitely a “nice to have” feature though and not something I’d miss terribly if it went away.

@marcoarment Did they actually change how this works, or just make the wording more specific (which is still an improvement, to be clear)? One time, I hit “remind me this afternoon” at 11:59 AM and the reminder popped up again exactly one minute later 😂

@nikitonsky Resizing the windows of some of the new Tahoe apps (Contacts, Phone, Messages, etc.) is slow and drops frames on my 14” M1 MacBook Pro. Sure, it’s not brand new anymore, but it’s still faster than *every Intel Mac ever made*. Come on!

@cabel I think it’s a bug in Tahoe. I’ve seen this happen occasionally on my 14” M1 MacBook Pro when it’s running on battery and the display dims before going to sleep.

@caseylisscom We’ve had US Mobile for the past two years, and my only regret is that we didn’t switch sooner. We have 6 GB of shared data between two iPhones and we only pay $26/month (including taxes and fees!). I honestly don’t understand why more people don’t use MVNOs!

@noheger Holy crap! This kept happening to me and I thought it was my mouse flaking out or something. So they changed the visual corner radius without adjusting the click area to match…great. Really starting to regret updating to Tahoe.

@noheger @gruber Aside from looking bad, it’s not even consistent: the middle column is blurred when behind the toolbar, but the right column isn’t. And the left column is blurred even when it’s not directly behind the sidebar, which is both illogical and also inconsistent with other apps. It literally looks like a work in progress that they just went ahead and shipped anyway. Really sloppy!
