@[email protected] I just would've thought it may have come up! But I suppose it's not really like "men use X" so it's masculine or "women use Y", i.e. Der Rock.
It's such an interesting thing for me, but that's probably because English doesn't have it! Does that make English quite weird to learn?

@[email protected] Out of curiosity (and probably English ignorance) does the gender of a word often come up in discussions about feminism?
