@snazzyq I see how it got stuck though. With that screen, and all that power they tried to make it a serious machine. It’s like the iPad got stuck in limbo between what people do on computers and what they do on phones. The iPad isn’t really living in either lane as well as the existing devices. And it can’t choose a lane because it’s so capable with all that hardware behind it.
It does most of the “work things”. It’s just not great at doing them all as a “workflow”.
It’s stuck.
@snazzyq After trying again with the latest updates, I think I give up. I'm happy using the device (13", M4, 1TB, Nano) when I'm watching something, reading something, or listening to something. I wouldn't want an iPad without the incredible screen the Pro has, and the decent speakers, and the nano texture.
But I often wonder what the iPad could be if they made one specifically designed for watching, reading, listening, and playing. Lighter, thinner, cheaper, streamlined for media consumption.
@snazzyq I can't quite put my finger on "the why"... but I have tried to setup and use the iPad Pro for years for both work and personal productivity. With each update it does get more capable... but the new capabilities and continual changes to gesturing and taps require a high level of learning/memory adjustment to get to nearly the same mediocre outcome.
Nothing really seems to remove the feeling of trying to run in waist deep mud when using it for any kind of multi-app "work".
