This perfectly captures the current state of mess with macOS menu icons.

Feels very much like someone is checking boxes of "all menu items have icons" instead of "the menu icons are useful."

This is a work of art!

Heroku has been a real shitshow the last few days. Website down for nearly a whole day, APIs and customer apps down intermittently.

Support site? Down completely.

Status page? Reporting A-OK due to defaulting to that when the page loads, then running 20+ second query to find out "definitely BAD". If you loaded the page and didn't wait 30 seconds, you would think they didn't even know there was a problem.

They say everything's fixed, but status page is still obviously broken. Try it!

Speaking of poorly functioning Apple products: WTF is happening with this search box which loses focus on every keystroke. Two clicks to get back.

Did some desperately needed maintenance on achievment-maker.com after I noticed some breakage.

Last deployed 10 years ago. 🤯

* Ruby 2.1 - > 3.3
* RMagick 2.13 -> 6.0 (the worst)
* All libraries to latest
* Heroku cedar-14 -> heroku-24
* Unicorn -> puma
* Gravatars now again after switching to HTTPS
* Proper CLI for easy development

What is this madness 1.4mn kilometres?

Using the british-english spelling of kilometre, so they likely know metric, but then using some "million” abbreviation which is accidentally metric for millinewtons?

1,400,000 kilometers = 1.4 gigameters
