Here’s the deal: a majority of Americans are blissfully unaware of how fucked they are, and have no strong feelings about what is happening right now. The Supreme Court keeps saying, in essence, “Congress can always step in to restrain the president”, while Congress is saying “nah bro, we actually don’t want to run the country, and are cool with death camps”.

So no, this is not likely to get better soon. I’d say there’s a 50/50 that we don’t have meaningful elections in ‘28.

People keep saying that it’s impossible to tell the difference between members of ICE and criminals dressing up as members of ICE.

But essentially, without due process or accountability, I don’t really see any material difference.
