@richardrathe @Rihilism There was. Closed down a while back, restaurant owner and landlord couldn't come to terms. Restaurant staff and owner moved to a hotel and have reopened for limited times. Hear they seem to be doing pretty well. The Highlander Hotel, Iowa City.

@rivetgeek I've learned, sometimes at my expense, every permutation of game and gamer I've realistically hoped or feared was out there, with declining returns already factored in.
And it is what it is. An island in a vast archipelago.
People are different, games are different. And it's probably never occurred to them there even was a difference if they weren't on the net or conventioneers. We've all got blind spots, but hopefully we're not blind to them. ;)
@RickiTarr Connections are important. Especially in a pandemic. And I think you can go just as wrong being too cynical as being too trusting. As long as everyone's being decent and kind to each other, there's nothing wrong with it.
