You only need to observe that nothing he has ever done meaningfully contradicts that possibility—and much of what he has done advances Russia’s interests.

What matters is not whether we possess a signed confession or a smoking-gun document, but whether Donald Trump’s conduct is consistent with the behavior of someone acting in the interests of a foreign power.

On that standard, nothing Trump has done meaningfully contradicts the possibility that he has functioned as a Russian asset—wittingly or unwittingly. And much of what he has done aligns with it.
