The internet needs a federated standard for blacklisting content so I never have to see another dumb article or mention of Elon Musk ever again.
OpenAI and “Sky”, to me, appears as both a textbook definition of and latest example from AI development living the axiom that the ends justifying the means. I believe the men and women closest to this technology are so spellbound by its promise that any lie; any misdeed are easily dismissed as inconvenient bricks needed to build the the tower a little higher and a little faster than the competition.

I've played maybe 3 hours of the new Final Fantasy 16 and the pace of the story is absolutely unhinged. If what I've seen is any indication of what to expect, this is far and away the greatest Final Fantasy of all time and it's not even close.

Not. Even. Close.

Apollo makes Reddit tolerable. No Apollo - no reddit.
Starfield gives me this feeling that Bethesda only knew they wanted to make a space game, and still maybe don't really know what the game is about.

I used to think Irish creme was a distinct flavor and one that I periodically enjoyed until it bothered me enough to look up what it was. I then uncovered the horrible truth that it was just vanilla and chocolate, and now I can't untaste that. It has certainly diminished in standing since I blown the lid off this cover up and oh how I'd love to return to the halcyon days where Irish creme was it's own distinct thing.

Sometimes truth is a burden.

Something I appreciate about Adam Savage is that from what I’ve seen of him over the years I get the impression that were I to ask him his thoughts on phillips head screws or the best hinge, he could pontificate extemperaneously and passionately about it for longer than you would expect and I would be interested the entire time. That level of discernment and interest about something seemingly arbitrary is so satisfying to my inner engineer.
There's always a tweet.

I am once again locked out of Twitter.

Twitter just locked my account after I asked Twitter's head of Trust & Safety Ella Irwin why I haven't been informed of what tweet broke Twitter's policies

Seems they forgot to force me to delete the tweet the first time, like they did the other suspended journalists.

This is the tweet they want me to delete to get back into my account:

Love this thought from @Andrew on the other site...
