Today has been a really great day on the Fediverse. We started in a brilliant two hour admin session with @JenJen, talked about gaming and streaming with @ozoned, and now this has dropped through my letterbox. Thanks @neil and everyone else I spoke to today. I am a happy nerd.

After many (many) repairs with heatshrink, the time has come for a new cable.

Another great example of how not to put covers over access screws, using awful adhesive... This is a Google Pixelbook Eve.

Work completed (flashing Coreboot using the excellent #mrchromebox scripts) and changing to Linux.

Need to clear the adhesive, replace and re-stick, and should be a bargain of a machine.

Spent most of the evening with a hot stripper. Thirsty work. The Wife even came and had a go. Cleanup was a team effort.
